Wales, a land of rugged landscapes, historic sites, and breathtaking natural beauty, offers a unique travel experience. In 2018, I had the chance to visit this stunning part of the UK, beginning my journey in Holyhead and venturing into the heart of Snowdonia National Park. The combination of dramatic coastal views and majestic mountains made this trip an unforgettable adventure.

Hello, I'm Rafal Rozalski, a landscape and timelapse photographer based in Ireland. Ireland has been the main focus of my photography for many years. I photograph its mountains, coastlines, countryside, historic places and cities, with a particular interest in the landscapes of Wicklow and Dublin. My photography is driven by a simple idea: getting to know a place before photographing it. Light, weather, season and time of day can completely change the character of an Irish landscape, and I often return to the same locations to see how they transform. Alongside still photography, I create timelapse films that explore the movement of clouds, changing light, night skies and the passing of time across the Irish landscape. One of my projects, Silent Wicklow, focuses on the landscapes of County Wicklow and was recognised at the Barcelona Planet Film Festival. On this blog I share my photographs, photography stories and experiences from locations across Ireland. I also write about places from a photographer's perspective — where I took a photograph, what conditions I found, why I chose a particular composition and what I would do differently when returning to the same location.
